How It Works
This calculator uses a standard dispensing formula:
(Doses per day × Number of days × Units per dose) + Buffer%
The buffer amount accounts for possible spills, extra doses taken by mistake, or miscalculations in duration. We recommend a 20% safety buffer for most prescriptions.
Important Notes
- Potency: Higher potencies (200C and above) are typically taken less frequently than lower potencies.
- Acute vs Chronic: For acute conditions, frequency may be much higher (e.g., every hour) for a short duration.
